LESSO Ethiopia Trading PLC is a firm engaged in trading and manufacturing of water pipe, sewerage pipes and fittings. The trading widely operates in Ethiopia, whereas, the production will start at scale in the newly built factory located in Sululta, Oromiya about 20km from the capital. Our company is looking for qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant post.

Job Summary:

  • Under the direction of the Marketing and Sales Department Manager: Plan, organize, lead, control, evaluate and report the marketing and sales activities of the company to efficiently execute the strategies that will maximize market share and company positioning. 
  • Conducts research and creates plan and prospects for marketing.
  • Establishes and puts into action the company’s strategy, develops and puts into action plans for increasing sales, and works to achieve the predetermined goals for both profit and sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and directs the company’s sales and marketing policies, objectives and initiatives.
  • Develops and oversees the sales and marketing functions, to ensure that the sales and marketing strategies are organized to achieve sales and brand goals.
  • Promotes the company’s existing brands and introduces new products to the market.
  • Makes researches and develops marketing opportunities and plans.
  • Understands customer requirements and identifies market trends to achieve the marketing goals.
  • Gathers, investigates, and summarizes market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Develops and conducts sales campaigns as well as marketing promotional plans.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by making regular visits, understands their needs and anticipates new marketing opportunities. 
  • Encourages employees to increase productivity, inspires and motivates sales and optimizes the market share.
  • Organizes the sales and marketing team to creatively reach more potential customers.
  • Ensures that all quotes are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organizes and conducts site inspections and familiarization visits to major construction and other potential areas.
  • Proactively monitors the profiles of the major clients in the different media platforms and ensures appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion.

Qualification Requirements:
Education:
  • MA / BA in Marketing Management or Business Management 
Experience:
  • 4/6 years relevant experience out of which 2 years of middle level managerial experience in the marketing field in business organizations.
Skills: 
  • Strong in people management, operations, and technology. 
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication. 
  • Inventiveness in addressing issues. 
  • Flexible and upbeat, a good team member. 
  • High standards of integrity and confidence.
