Under the general guidance and supervision of the Assistant Front Office Manager/Supervisor or delegate and within the limits of established Golden Tulip Addis Ababa Hotel Policies and Procedures and Front Office Manual, provide a welcoming, friendly and professional service to all guests. Promoting hotel services and maximizing revenue whilst maintaining the highest guest expectations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, register, check in and out guests according to Hotel Brand and legal requirements and enter guest details into the PMS, Be familiar with all guest rooms to ensure rooms sales are maximized in accordance with selling strategies, Be aware of functions, facilities, promotions and events taking place in the hotel, Process all cashiering transactions in accordance with Front Office Accounting Standards, Receive, process and confirm all reservations whether in or outbound, Be fully conversant with hotel rooms, availability and rates and be able to sell accordingly, Update guest registration cards, update guest profile, Report anything considered as health or safety hazard & be aware of the Golden Tulip Addis Ababa Hotel Health & Safety Policy and perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in hotel and tourism or related hospitality discipline, and at least 2 years’ relevant experience at the same role with an up-scale (4/5 Star) hotel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, Good analytics and reporting skills, Experience with OPERA Hospitality Management System and good command of both English and Amharic. Additional language skill is a plus.
