Purpose of the Job
- To maintain a strong long lasting relationship between the Bank and its commercial customers, increase the volume of loans through credit marketing and meeting the service delivery quality standard, in a very cost effective way
Main Duties
- Gather and check all relevant required credit processing information and documents and when satisfied issue acknowledgment letter to the customer to confirm acceptance of the request for processing and start-up of the Loan Delivery Time (LDT) counting.
- Conduct business visits and produce comprehensive due diligence report so as to reflect facts observed.
- Advise and consult commercial customers about credit process, debt servicing, type, terms, eligibility, and utilization and cross selling to make potential and existing customers aware of the services offerings of the bank.
- Conduct strict loan follow up on case by case basis focusing on repayment/ utilization, end use of loans, insurance renewal and business performance etc.
- Facilitate estimation of collateral and collect legal opinion on documents for further processing of credit analysis.
- Identify early warning signals on the customer’ business and advice before taking subsequent appropriate actions.

- Forward impaired loans timely to the loans work out for better expertise resolution through negotiation after one time amicable resolution effort.
- Recruit and identify potential commercial customers and establish relationship to increase the credit customer base of the bank.
- Review the credit analysis report and put his/her independent recommendation for presentation to the concerned credit committee.
- Prepare loan and mortgage/pledge contract to make the credit extension legally enforceable in the eyes of low.
- Make disbursement and collect repayments from accounts per the terms and condition of the approval.
- Distribute credit analysis with recommendation on the LAF and due diligence report to committee members for deliberation.
- Communicate credit decision of the Bank to the customer in order to complete the subsequent credit process for disbursement of the loan

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or related field
- At least 2(two) years of relevant experience.
- Awareness of major economic trends in the market and
- understanding of the banking sector and factors affecting loan performance
- Must be confident, self-starter, an independent thinker and have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; team oriented
