Duty Summary:

Researcher Officer are tasked to make strong market research to find the best product and service suppliers and will work collaboratively with Construction Department and help company to achieve targets with proactive Market research. He/she will support the planning and managing of research activities and provide an alternative supply chain with high quality products and services at the most affordable price.

Duty and Responsibilities:

  • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers
  • Responsible for searching, evaluating and buying products or services finding best suppliers for companies to limit costs and improve accuracy
  • Providing prices for all materials and report
  • Dealing effectively with challenges with finding alternative suppliers and the flow of materials
  • Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations
  • Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria
  • Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings
  • Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
  • Contacting a range of suppliers and sub‐contractors to obtain quotations
  • Assessing the reliability of sub‐contractors and suppliers
  • Providing information to the project estimator on the predicted cost of individual items

Education Level 

  • BSc in Business Administration or similar.

Experience :  

  • +2 years Retail experience or similar.

Competences & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of market research and purchasing strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  •  Team player with strong organizational skills  Result and solution-oriented
  • Bound to ethical principals and Having high sense of responsibility
  •  Willingness to work long hours, under time and budget pressure.
