Invitation to Bid Consultancy Service for Production and Dissemination/Broadcast of Radio Spots Focusing on Holistic Child Development

We achieve positive change in communities in partnership with local organizations through our three core programs that improve education, health and livelihoods and achieve the outcomes of healthy and secure infants, educated and confident children and skilled and involved youth.
ChildFund Ethiopia would like to invite eligible and competent firm to provide production of Information Education Communication Tools on Holistic Child Development. Eligible bidders are invited to submit their technical and financial proposal separately during office working hours (Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM & Afternoon: 1:00 – 4:30 PM) within the period of March 24 – 31, 2022 to address below
Bidders’ requirements
- A post-graduate degree or MSc, BA or MA degree in communication, or relevant social sciences
- At least ten progressive years of experience especially on audio message production and facilitating dissemination/broadcasting messages.
- Evidence of similar work in the recent past will be a key requirement. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Amharic and English Languages. Additional expertise of language skills in Afaan Oromoo, Gedeo, and Kistanigna is also required.
- Able to present professional or business license/certifications renewed for the current Ethiopian fiscal year and all applicable legal documents.
- The consulting firm/consultant must demonstrate strong career record and sufficient experience on the development, production, and dissemination of radio spots. Accordingly, the consultant shall enlist team of experts who specialize in the requirements of the assignment through educational background and experience. The consultant/the representative of the consulting firm must have MSc, BA or MA degree or above with 10 years of practical experience in relation to the assignment. Key staff should include specializations in communication, translation, and in audio-visual production in multiple languages.
- The firm should clearly state unit price in ETB including 15% VAT/10% ToT and other related cost. The company should provide TIN certificate, VAT registration certificate/TOT, business registrations certificates and Business License that have all been renewed and valid license for the current fiscal year and other evidence which demonstrate the organization is approved to operate such a business.
