Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assign households for enumerators, checking the quality of data, approving/rejecting the submitted data by the teams assigned to him/her. 
  • Check and validate the data being collected by ensuring its completeness and consistency using the checklists to be prepared for this purpose. 
  • Check the quality of the data using different approaches, he/she will then accept or reject each of the completed questionnaires. 
  • Give detailed comments to each of the data errors and communicate same to the enumerators. 
  • Coordinate field data collection activities as well as finding solutions to problems being encountered in the field, follow up and track the movement of the field data collection team (i.e., field supervisors and enumerators), and produce periodic progress report of field activities.
  • Ensure that GPS tracking and BHH data collection is done by different enumerators by switching the enumerators to a different location. 
  • Switching enumerators between listing and household data collection 
  • Participate in the specific training offered to the Survey Solution Supervisors training
  • Participate in the TOT, and learn how to undertake their duties 
  • Gives training for enumerators by travelling to the designated training center 
  • Give detailed note for the enumerators for rejecting cases
  • Closely work with the data manager
  • Report undertaken activities to the server administrator and project manager regularly.

Qualification: 

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering (of different type), Economics, and other field related to computer science with
  • A minimum of two years’ work experience in field of data collection and supervision

Language:

  • Ability to read and write in English and Amharic. Communicating in Afan Oromo has advantage
