The Ethiopia Deposit Insurance Fund (EDIF) would like to invite competent applicants for the following posts

Brief Job Description

  •  Draft/revise human resource management manual of the Fund; 
  • Prepare annual human resource requirement plan of the Fund; 
  • Prepare periodic plan and progress report on human resource management of the Fund;
  • Handle employee requirement, selection, and promotion; 
  • Properly document employee records and files;
  • Organize, coordinate and handle staff orientation, training and development; 
  • Organize, coordinate and handle periodic staff performance appraisal;
  • Periodically prepare and implement payrolls of the Fund; 
  • Monitor staff leave, absence, disciplinary and grievance issues; and 
  • Carryout any other human resource management related duties as assigned by the Fund.

Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years 

Type of employment: Permanent

Required minimum educational qualification and Work Experience

  •  1st Degree or above in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Auditing, Banking and Finance, Business Administration or Business Management. 
  • Having Basic Computer Training Certificate 
  • Minimum of 4/6 years of experience in human resource management and related area for 2nd Degree or1st Degree holder, respectively, in a central bank, a bank or a microfinance institutions.
