SBG Industry PLC was established in 2008 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and is currently engaged in the production of bottled water. Its debut product is called Arki Mineral Water produced on the highlands of Sululta 2620 meters above sea level.

The business has created employment for 250+people. It has a vision of dynamic growth and expansion thus opening more opportunities for employment ever to more people as it goes.

1.   Duties and Responsibilities

Ø Leading, managing, motivating and supervising agent sales team to implement the company’s sales

strategy and meet agreed targets. 

Ø Communicate with existing agents to increase or maintain levels of the business activity.

Ø  Presenting and selling company products and services to new and existing agents.

Ø  Identifying sales opportunities and presenting benefits and key features of products effectively to acquire

new business.

Ø  Searching proactively for new revenue generating opportunities to meet the company targets and follow

up on market gaps.

Ø  Identifying sales prospects and contacts and other agents as assigned. 

Ø Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. 

Ø Assess prices and products of competitors and market gaps.

Ø Assess the activities of agents.

Ø Compiling sales progress reports on a weekly/monthly and end of year and proactively addressing

shortfall on targets due to be achieved.

Ø Handling complaints from agents and addressing shortfall on targets due to be achieved.

Ø Adhering to the company external or internal customer care policies and procedures.

Ø Participating in marketing events and attending sales meetings.

Ø Managing the Customer Relationship Management database to ensure accurate and up-to-date

information is available.

Ø Design the department plan and follow up its implementation.

Ø Supervise the performance of the team.

Ø Work in harmony with other departments

Perform activities assigned by supervisor.

Required educational background & work experience: At least 5 years of related BA Degree sales / marketing experience with tertiary qualifications in technical / business related areas.
