In terms of staff and directorship, we are probably the most Ethiopian beer company in the country. And to help us stay abreast of leading technology and introduce world-class know-how, we work closely with international partners and suppliers.
- Create regional sales and distribution plan in alignment with the business objectives
- Implement district sales plan to expand company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Oversee progress and performance of Territory managers and sales representatives
- Acting as a main point of contact with distributors
- Management of our distributors and 3rd party partners in accordance with our contractual obligation.
- Ensure the distributors have the right infrastructure and required capital to serve the market
- Work in partnership with distributors to build capability, ensure quality customer service and delivering the targeted volume and value
- Review distributors’ operations weekly/monthly to ensure profitability, as well as focus both on sale-in and sell-out
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Assist in presenting sales, revenue and expenses reports to National sales manager
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Analyze the various key performance indicators (KPIs) and take action on areas which requires attention
- Ensure customer satisfaction through monitoring distribution efficiency
- Manage the trade investment effectively and ensure return on investment
- Drive UB market share
- BS/MS degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field
- Successful previous experience in a sales position in FMCG industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Ability to bring strategy to life and inspire bold execution across the field sales team
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team
- Deep experience of leading and developing diverse team, ability to coach others
- Good commercial understanding, P&L literacy, strong numerical skills
- Demonstrate a successful track record in terms of volume growth, market share growth, market penetration, brand building, customer service and satisfaction
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Familiar in using Microsoft offices (word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong command of written and spoken in English & Local Languages .
