Our company: is now looking for a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling, production and delivery of concreate products to GENTIUM customers by coordinating the production, resource supply, trucks and pumps, equipment, staff, and processes. Manage routine production activities as well as act as the first line of support for troubleshooting should problems arise.
Salary & Benefits: Successful candidates will receive competitive salary and remuneration along with company provided car. The position is also eligible for short-term variable payment and additional incentives as per the production target.
Specifically, you will
· Plan and establish daily work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
· Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators confirm to production or processing standards.
· Analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
· Calculate Material, labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard formulas.
· Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
· Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production and delivery of concrete products, such as quantity surveyors, plant operators, yard crew, fleet and pump operators.
· Interpret job orders, mix design specifications, ratio and company policies and procedures for workers.
· Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
· Collaborate with management and Human Resource to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
· Confer with Technical Department to confirm quality of raw materials and products; detect defects or quality problems; actively seek advice for Mix design, Ratio and quality adjustments.
· Confer with Maintenance Department to confirm the readiness of Plants & Vehicles, and following the repair and maintenance of Plant & Vehicles schedule with the Maintenance engineer/supervisor.
· Evaluate employee performance, and conduct gap-filling activities by organizing employee training in equipment operations and safety procedures.
· Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results.
· Oversee the timely requisition of raw material supplies.
· Enforce safety and harm free environment; take action to limit/minimize damage on property and human Resource.
· Oversee records of employees’ attendance and leave practice.
· Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Related field.
· Eight (8) years relevant experience with at least four (4) at management/Supervisory level for Degree holders and Ten (10) years for relevant experience with at least six (6) years at Management/Supervisory level for Diploma Holders.
· Certificate in lean Manufacturing, ISO standards or Six Sigma.
