Summary:
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Fintech industry. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly in both UI and backend testing, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for both UI and backend components using tools such as Postman, Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and develop test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
- Work closely with Senior QA Engineers to ensure test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint demos.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation, preferably in the Fintech domain.
- Strong proficiency in automation testing tools such as Postman, Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Solid understanding of backend testing techniques and tools (e.g., RESTful APIs, Postman).
- Experience with UI automation frameworks and libraries (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
- Prior experience in the Fintech industry is more preferable
