YeGesha coffee is Ethiopian coffee roaster and exporter Company based in Ethiopia, the first to implement Fair-chain model, with an integrated end-to-end operation throughout the coffee value chain, from crop to cup.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The main purpose of the job is to coordinate the supply chain for the roasting facility and retail operations by streamlining the supply chain process.

MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES

  • The role involves monitoring market trends, reevaluating contracts, and negotiating prices and conditions.
  • It involves managing vendor relationships, collaborating with staff, senior management, and decision-makers, and participating in the development of supply chain strategies.
  • The role involves coordinating needs, planning supply and delivery times, and updating management with ingredient prices.
  • The role also involves managing procurement functions, implementing transaction management best practices, and managing corporate governance.
  •  Risk management is also a key aspect, and the role involves staying informed about supply chain technology and improving processes.
  • The role also involves resolving work-related problems, communicating organizational values, managing contractor and subcontractor activities, and ensuring food safety management system issues are reported to supervisors and quality personnel.

Qualification

Education

  • Degree in any Social science studies

Experience

  • Minimum 3-year experience in supply chain and related position
  • Exposure to coffee value addition and hospitality industry is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of emotional intelligence and sales techniques
