Now Moti is looking for competent Human Resource Officer, for immediate vacant filling (hire).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures the right process of recruitment and selection to get the right candidate as required;
  • To arrange & attend meetings, keeps & prepare Minutes of (Employment, promotion, disciplinary & others) committees;
  • Implement and administer HR policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines and applicable employment laws.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that welcomes new hires and integrates them into the company culture.
  • Developing and implementing employee performance management processes, including goal setting, conducting regular performance reviews and provide feedback, and development plans.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of HR training programs for employees and management.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
  • Assist with the performance management process, ensuring fairness and consistency in appraisals and feedback.
  • Stay updated with HR trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Oversees and ensures compliance of company code of conduct, dressing code and office ethics.
  • To Prepare various HR reports. 
  • Handles staff exit management and related activities, ensures exit interview is filled by departing staff and ensures that their clearance is complete;
  • Coordinate manpower requests of Departments at HQ and Regional level; lead the development of Job description and specification of required position;
  • Manage and follow the appropriate announcement /job posting/ media for vacancies, proper registration, screening and appropriate steps of selection tests.   
  • Coordinate and conduct written, interview and other assessments with corresponding DPT managers
  • taking into account time management and team availability
  • Organize & Attend meetings of (employment, promotion, discipline & other) committee vote-less,  Keeps and edit minutes of meeting & made to be signed promptly in consultation with HRM.
  • Prepare periodic HR Reports & statistics;
  • Ensures that functional managers/ departments  are periodically updated their status of staffing need /requests;
  • Take delegation, Travel to branch offices to enhance HR procedures / practices as well as disseminate remunerations, benefits and welfare information of staff;
  • Assists Legal Advisor and the HRM  on court cases;
  • Administration of Disciplinary matters study, findings report, Corrective Measures & grievance procedure handling Cases investigation, decision proposal as teamwork.
  • Performs other related tasks as required.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in HR Management, Management or in any related field of study;
  • 5 & above years’ proven experience in Human Resource Role
  • knowledge of HR Management principles and practices; of office practices and procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of HR Policies, Practices, Ethiopian Labor Law and other applicable laws
  •  Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously /at once; ability to maintain good working    relationship with team members.
  • Excellent in all office package and other software usages skill.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and writing skill in English and Amharic languages is mandatory;
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, punctuality are required;
  •  Professional & principled personality, and able to plan & perform his/her duties without close supervision.
  • Very good communication, persuasive, negotiating and presentation skill at two languages (English & Amharic).
