Marie Stopes International Ethiopia (MSIE), a partner of MSI, is currently undertaking a dramatic scale-up of health service delivery for low income women and couples in Ethiopia.  JOB SUMMARY

MSI seeks a qualified graphic Design, Website and Digital Media Consultant for various internal and external marketing & communications materials to ensure high quality and consistent imagery and messaging.

The Consultant will report to the Senior Marketing & Communication Officer of MSI in Ethiopia.

The Consultant will be responsible to ensure all communications (digital, print and social media) adhere to MSIE brand guidelines as well as donor brand requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • ·          Overall responsible for developing digital contents and managing company’s social media platforms, website as per organization’s social medial management policy.
  • ·          Take lead in developing social media promotion strategies to increase visibility and engagement of target audience in utilization of company services.
  • ·          Lead the execution of the social medial promotion activities and generate periodic productivity reports for the management to take decision
  • ·          Ensure efficient utilization of budget allocated for social media promotion and produce impact reports
  • ·          Develop innovative solution to reach more target audience, increase customer engagement, generate more inquires and tracking of client conversion/referrals to company’s service delivery points.
  • ·          Coordinate with concern stakeholders in managing queries, feedback provided by customers and timely resolution. 
  • ·          Making sure the company website is always up to date with relevant contents.

  • ·          Design dynamic and eye-catching graphic solutions to communicate brand message both for digital and print use.
  • ·          Creation, writing and execution of all marketing & visual content ranging for marketing/advertising campaigns, social media content as well as other support functions as needed
  • ·          Publishing engaging contents on social media platforms.
  • ·          Creating and implementing effective paid ads on social media target at the right target audience
  • ·          Regularly monitoring and reporting on social media narratives and performance of published content
  • ·          Consistently research, identify and share current industry design and social media trends
  • ·          Strengthen and enrich the organization content library
  • ·          Taking product photos and editing them accordingly.

  • Curate messages that embody the tone and MSIE brand & repurpose the content for different mediums (Print, social media & others).


Skills and Experience (essential/ desirable)

BA Degree in Arts and Visual Communications, Marketing, Communication, business administration or related field with 3-4 year experience in graphic design, digital marketing and copy editing

  • Portfolio of design, layout and copyediting materials
  • Working knowledge of Apple/Mac operating systems.
  • Previous experience in social media marketing or other related fields.
  • Proven knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluent in English and Amharic (essential)
  • Prior experience in digital marketing and content development
