Scope of Role
Under direction of warehouse supervisor, the Forklift Operator will be responsible to operate forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack products, raw materials, and other merchandises. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform duties related to the forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Check Forklift and its accessories are in operating condition.
- Loads and unloads full/empty crates with bottles from the truck or to a designated area.
- Arrange pallets in collecting areas and in the stores in kind.
- Arrange bottled drinks in the store.
- Provides pallets to the plant truck or to the agent’s truck.
- Loads and unloads purchased raw material, finished products, etc. from trucks.
- Uses forklift appropriate to each type of movement.
- At each day’s end returns and parks forklift to appropriate station.
- Keeps vehicle clean and takes care of spare tires, hand tools and other accessories.
- These and other related works assigned by his/her supervisor.
Qualification and Experience Required
Education:
- Highschool Diploma holder with a special license for forklift driving.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 year proven working experience as a forklift driver preferably in bottling company/ FMCG.
Skills:
- Ability to work long hours under tight shipment schedule.
- Good track record in safe driving and no recent accident in moving/driving violation records.
- Basic knowledge about environment, health and safety.
