Meseret Humanitarian Organization (MHO) is an initiative to reduce vulnerability among children and women in Ethiopia. It has been established as a humanitarian organization in July 2011 with registration certificate No. 2455. MHO envisions seeing all Ethiopian women & children inspire to prosperity. MHO is also committed to its safe guarding policy and implementing mechanisms / procedures.
Meseret Humanitarian organization (MHO) and UN Women has signed a project to implement a project entitled “-Project Title: Strengthening the Capacity of women’s rights organizations and CSOs working on the issue of vulnerable women to influence policy process and evidence-based advocacy” project.
Therefore, MHO has intended to out source the consultancy service through legal and eligible consultant firm to :
- To conduct training needs assessment and design tailored capacity building manual for WOs that works on vulnerable women
- To facilitate capacity building training for CSOs and Women’s Rights Organization /WROs /on evidence-based policy advocacy
- To prepare evidence-based advocacy handbooks for six women’s organizations.
- Provide mentorship support for 6 WROs to develop collective advocacy strategies and approaches on how to advocate for vulnerable women.
- To facilitate policy dialogues on selected thematic areas on the rights of vulnerable groups of women with 60 relevant stakeholders, right holders, and duty bearers.
- To prepare policy briefs on selected thematic issues
This is therefore to kindly invite interested and legal consultancy firms to submit their technical and financial proposals.
Required relevant documents during technical and financial proposal submission:
- Summary on understanding of the assignment, methodology, work plan and quality assurance system as being clearly outlined in this TOR.
- An updated curriculum vitae of the consultant outlining relevant experience as per the TOR,
- A financial proposal inclusive of all costs, including tax requirements (2% withholding tax).
