Our client, an import and distribution of heavy duty industrial grade appliances company based in Addis Ababa, is looking for competent applicants for the post of a Senior Accountant with the following responsibilities.
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
- Closing petty Cash fund monthly basis
- Sales Checking and posting
- Payroll Preparation
- Stock Reconciliation
- VAT & WHT Tax preparation
- Finalization of books of accounts
- Preparing financial statements/ information according to statutory obligations and company policy.
A degree in accounting / finance with a minimum 5 years experience
Taxation law knowledge
Strong computer skills especially in Peachtree, word and excel
Import industry experience is highly advantageous
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Good command of English
