Heal Africa Health City is a self-contained medical services delivery center that provides one-stop shopping service situated in one geographical location. The ‘Health City’ caters to large volume of Patients seeking tertiary level care. The medical professionals are equipped with Cutting edge technology to diagnose and offer holistic treatment to the patients. The capital cost of high end technology is amortized over the large volumes of patients and by driving high utilizations rates. It could also constitute a network of satellite clinical facilities delivering a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to ambulatory patients.

Responsibility:

  • Prepares the Office’s annual plan and ensures its appropriate implementation, and prepares and submits monthly/monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports accordingly
  • Ensures the timely submission of grades to the registrar and programming office from all departments in accordance with the Academic Calendar
  • Capture the data as per the College Registration data set
  • Ensures the proper administration of admission, readmission, placement, class and exam schedules, semester registration, Add/Drop, Make-up Administration, etc.
  • Update the  data information in development database
  • If necessary, change the college student registration date , information and any case concerned on registrar office
  • Correct registration data to ensure data quality
  • Ensure the registration equipment properly working including laptops and computers
  • Assist in the implementation of appropriate registration strategies and methodologies for  concerned in compliance with the protection strategy of the operation and ensuring that registration standards are met
  • Assist in the drafting and implementation of operation for all aspects of registration in accordance with applicable standards and policies, including provisions for the protection of individual data
  • Assist in the implementation of appropriate procedures and systems for the assurance of quality registration data through continuous registration and verification exercises, including in the securing and distribution of identity and entitlement documents
  • Assist in conducting regular data quality checks to monitor the accuracy of data collected
  • Liaise with Government authorities and partners as necessary for delivery of assistance and other registration-related activities
  • Conduct registration interviews with persons of concern , ensuring individual registration data is complete, accurately recorded and up-to-date
  • Participate in statistical and data analysis as required
  • Ensure safe keeping of individual registration records including manual records
  • Nonstop update and back up progress database
  • Assist in the development of forms for data collection and analysis, if requested
  • Ensures the academic policies with regard to students’ admission, recording, graduation   course requirement fulfillments, consistent interpretation and implementation of the academic regulation of the College
  • Develops and implements systems to maintain student academic records; keeps clean records on all academic matters pertaining students and programs within the College
  • Creates and maintains up-to-date, confidential and safe record of students including dropouts, dismissals, transfers and withdrawals
  • Provides information related to students population or proper allocation and optimum use of classrooms, laboratories, demonstrations and related facilities of the College
  • Arranges, in collaboration with deans and Departments, orientation programmers for new students and graduation rehearsals before graduation ceremonies
  • Ensures timely issuance of semester grade reports, transcripts and original diplomas/degree  to students after making sure that necessary clearances are carried out
  • Produces lists of prospective graduates and ensures approval by the board
  • Ensures the smooth running of the data base system of the Office of the Registrar
  • Performs other activities assigned by supervisors

 Requirement

  • Degree  in social science, statistics, information technology or related fields
  • 5year experience and relevant experience is more selected
  • Excellent English & Amharic language
  • Data handling skills
  • Excellent computer skills
