Kasma Engineering is a private limited company registered and licensed in Ethiopia to conduct a wide spectrum of works mainly in engineering and construction fields. From its humble beginnings as an engineering company nearly two decades ago, Kasma has transformed into a fully integrated construction solution provider and continues to grow and operate in various sectors. With its headquarters located in the heart of Addis Ababa nearby the Gottera interchange, the company continues to work on various projects throughout the city and beyond. The headquarter office, stationed in its own newly built building, serves as technical support to provide the required expertise and overall management capacity to handle complex projects headed by all affiliates.
 Key Responsibilities:
  •    Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to mechanical systems during the design, construction, and operation phases.
  •   Collecting, registering and analyzing maintenance data of machineries, equipments, vehicles, and trucks
  • Develop innovative solutions to optimize system performance by working on research and development
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective installation of mechanical systems.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective measures as needed to maintain schedule and budget targets.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections and testing of mechanical systems to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Provide input to project managers and stakeholders on cost implications of design changes, value engineering options, and alternative solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering and construction.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bchelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred..
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, 
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Able to work extended hour
