Evertop Sportswear Plc. is on the process of establishing a garment factory in Bole Lemi Industrial Park, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Evertop plans to manufacture wearing apparel for the export market. Evertop is looking for highly motivated and experienced personnel to fill the following position.

Evertop Sportswear Plc. is on the process of establishing a garment factory in Bole Lemi Industrial Park, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Evertop plans to manufacture wearing apparel for the export market. Evertop is looking for highly motivated and experienced personnel to fill the following position. 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design & implement a coherent organizational structure 
  • Develops or adapts HR policies, procedures and manuals as well as observes the periodic revision when there is a need.
  • Develops planning strategies considering immediate and long-term staff requirements in terms of number and skill levels.
  • Supervise the Human Resources function 
  • Prepare Annul Budget for HR & CSR Department along with justification.
  • Ensure that every activity undertaken in the company are consistent with the compliance requirement.
  • Provide training on major HR & CSR related topics 
  • Participate in employee interview panel, testing, selection, background investigations, deployment, sub-contracting and temporary staff, post-offer employment testing.
  • Organize and lead any compliance practices and audit inspection.
  • Design and implementation of compensation and performance management systems and career development for employee
  • Proposes employee retention schemes, offering advice on work and remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits, initiates and participates in undertaking regular salary reviews;
  • Monitor and advise on disciplinary matters in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with HQ .
  • Prepare terms and conditions of employment and issue all employment contracts in compliance with Ethiopian Labour Law and HR best practices
  • Lead implementation and maintenance of performance management system that is in alignment with organizational goals
  • Coordinate and follow-up implementation of an appropriate learning and development framework to ensure the continued skills enhancement of all team members.
  • Conduct different action researches in relation with HR activity
  • Submit periodic report on compliance issues.
  • Performs other related tasks as required.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • BA/MA Degree in Business Fields.
  •  Minimum of  6 Years of Experience in Human Resource and compliance at Managerial level.
  • Core competencies required might include ethical conduct, strategic thinking, leadership, decision-making and financial management.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
