Job Summary
The CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Manager are responsible for creating and implementing an approach to CSR that complements Evertop’s business strategy in the areas of corporate responsibility, and to be responsible for projecting the company’s as an involved, responsible and forward-thinking corporate citizen. It also managing in the community engagement programs overall to ensure that they benefit the local communities as well as the Company objectives.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- design & implement a coherent organizational compliance related structure
- Develops and adapts policies, procedures and manuals relating to a variety of company’s ethical, sustainability and Environmental responsibilities as well as observes the periodic revision when there is a need.
- Develops a company’s social responsibility planning strategies considering compliance and conducting research into best practice.
- Ensure that every activity undertaken in the company are consistent with the compliance requirement and also a company’s policies meet legal and commercial needs.
- Develop, execute and supervise CSR programs and functions as well as conduct periodic program reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness all over the company.
- Provide training on major CSR related topics and follow the implementation.
- Organize and lead any compliance audit inspection.
- Ensuring a company has a positive impact on local communities and the environment. And maintain an ongoing relationship with the community.
- Raising public awareness of a company’s social responsibility commitments. Organizing events for employees and their teams and encourage links between company and other stakeholders.
- Communicate with HQ compliance teams in issue related with compliance.
- Drive budget & monitoring spending to deliver results in line with planned objectives.
- Submit periodic report on social responsibility activity to senior managers and concerned bodies.
- Performs other related tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Analytical, decision making and strategic planning skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- In-depth Knowledge of the rules and regulations, and best practices for CSR will be an advantage.
- Resourcefulness and creativity in developing the role of CSR within the Evertop and ensuring the most effective support to line management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize a substantial workload that includes complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities.
- Good understanding about compliance and social responsibility standards.
- Good understanding about different buyers’ code of conduct and compliance requirement.
- Proficiency in e-mail communication
- Proactive and commitment for outcome
- Excellent IT skills, MS Office applications
- Decisive with excellent judgement
- Excellent interpersonal skills – builds good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage a complex and demanding workload with flexible behavior
Education Qualification and Experience
- BA/MA Degree in Management/Environmental Science / Chemical /Industrial Engineering/ other Business Fields.
- At least 6 Years of Experience in CSR Manager /direct related field.
