Job Description: 

As a Content Strategist at our advertising agency, you will play a pivotal role in developing comprehensive content strategies that align with our clients’ goals and objectives. You will collaborate closely with creative teams, account managers, and clients to ensure that content initiatives are executed effectively and drive results.

Duties

1. Content Strategy Development:

· Conducting thorough research to understand client industries, target audiences, and competitors.

· Analyzing market trends and consumer behavior to identify content opportunities.

· Developing content strategies that align with client objectives, brand identities, and messaging guidelines.

· Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of content initiatives.

2. Content Planning and Ideation:

· Generating innovative ideas for content across various platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and advertising campaigns.

· Collaborating with creative teams to brainstorm content concepts and formats.

· Creating content calendars and editorial schedules to ensure timely and consistent delivery of content.

3. Audience Segmentation and Persona Development:

· Segmenting target audiences based on demographic, psychographic, and behavioral factors.

· Creating detailed audience personas to inform content creation and distribution strategies.

· Tailoring content messaging and tone to resonate with specific audience segments.

4. Content Optimization and SEO:

· Optimizing content for search engines to improve organic visibility and traffic.

· Conducting keyword research and integrating relevant keywords into content.

· Implementing SEO best practices to enhance content discoverability and ranking.

5. Content Distribution and Promotion:

· Identifying the most effective channels for distributing content based on audience preferences and platform capabilities.

6. Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

· Monitoring the performance of content initiatives against established KPIs.

7. Client Communication and Collaboration:

· Presenting content strategies and recommendations to clients clearly and compellingly.

Skills and Qualifications:  

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

· Proven experience (X years) in content strategy, digital marketing, or related roles.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content management systems.

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

· Proficiency in SEO principles and best practices.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

· Experience working with advertising agencies or marketing firms is a plus.
