Shega has two main products: Shega Insight and Shega Media.
Shega Insight is a research, advisory, and B2B data platform for businesses, development organizations, startups, tech companies, and investors, helping them make better decisions.
Shega Media is a news, analysis, reports, visuals, and weekly newsletter covering Ethiopia’s innovative ecosystem and soon expanding to other African markets starting from East Africa.
Think of a mix between Bloomberg, Techcrunch, and CB Insight for emerging markets. That is what we are building. We are now a go platform for the Ethiopian Innovative scene and are backed by leading and experienced advisors from Ethiopia, Kenya, India, and the US. As an Account Manager, you are the bridge between the client and the agency. You will be responsible for ensuring that the agency is meeting the client’s needs, working with all the key functions that go into creating the agency’s advertising output. You will constantly be solving problems, managing internal and external communications, and drive projects to completion.
Duties
– Handle a large volume of incoming customer.
– Managing the client relationship through effective communication, problem solving, and responding to requests.
– Presenting pitches and making sure we acquire new clients.
– Communicating with customers through various channels.
– Processing orders, applications, and requests
– Identifying ways to grow client accounts through new business opportunities.
– Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
– Knowing the products of the customer so that we can better understand the customer and their need.
– Keeping the team and the client up to date with useful knowledge.
– Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions, and next actions.
– Offer accurate and appropriate advice to each customer based on their needs.
– Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
– Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
– Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
– Put in the extra effort to engage customers, even in a complaint situation.
– Managing the team working on the specific project from different departments.
– Providing feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness on the departments on the different projects and designing a way forward to eradicate the issue.
– Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
– Grow long-term relationships with customers based on trust.
– Working with Finance to limit write offs, bill client accurately, and intime invoicing, do reconciliations.
