Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Receive and prepare laboratory samples for analysis, following proper protocols in order to ensure that they will be stored, prepared, and disposed of efficiently and effectively.
  • Collect, labeling, and safely storing samples from raw materials and intermediate
    and/or final fermentation products so testing can be performed.
  • Measure or weigh ingredients used in testing.
  • Operate laboratory equipment such as spectrometers, NPK determination apparatus, centrifuges, and PH meters in order to perform tests.
  • Prepare data summaries, reports, and analyses that include results, charts, and graphs in order to documents research findings and results.
  •  Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results.
  • Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.
  •  Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs

  • Understanding of electronic and computerized equipment in laboratories.
  •  Able to follow instructions and strictly follow procedures.
  • Good critical thinking skills and good hand-eye coordination.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Have experience on operating NPK determination apparatus is an advantage.
  • Degree in Biotechnology, chemistry, food science, or related fields.
  • Have more than 4 years of work experience in biotechnology systems and process
    related factory.
