Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Research and Innovations Manager.
The Role Summary:
To uncover insights that inspire big ideas that drive growth.
This role works closely with marketing and trade marketing but also must work closely with the sales team to impact on and influence the overall planning process.
Result Area
Game Planning
- Support the Game Planning process.
- Helps the marketing director create provocative and insightful workshops to identify opportunities and challenges for each brand.
- Support the process from identification of opportunities and threats to high quality, final GAME plans which have been approved, and joined up with other commercial plans.
Consumer Insight Development
- Work with the team to proactively define and communicate consumer opportunities for growth.
- Uncover insights that can be applied to develop big ideas that unlock growth.
- Transform consumer research capability in each of the markets.
- Uses consumer information (Retail audit, Brand tracking, etc) to help the business navigate.
Leading Marketing research
- Lead both the planned and Ad-hoc marketing research. This includes both formal and informal market visits.
- Analyze data from both internal & external sources to generate core consumer /business insights.
- Lead all the research related to innovations together with the innovations brand manager.
- BA degree in any business field
- 5 years of experience in research and development, innovation management, or a related role.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in technology scouting, patent analysis, and intellectual property management is desirable.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, experimental design, and statistical analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
