Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) wants to hire a professional video production company capable of handling pre-production, production and post-production for the following job.
Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) is a local NGO that works on youth related issues. Our mission is to holistically and meaningfully engage young people and our vision is to become the largest youth-focused NGO in Africa. Our program areas include Youth & Women Empowerment, Sexual & Reproductive Health, ICT, Environment, Advocacy Work, Water Sanitation & Hygiene and Other emerging issues.
Community Service as a Pathway to Work (CSPW) is one of YNSD’s flagship programs that is being implemented in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation. CSPW is a five-year programme that will provide community service opportunities and job preparedness skills for 500,000 youth, while significantly contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of communities. Ensuring that these young people are engaged in dignified and fulfilling work is the ultimate goal of this programme. The program covers 150 woredas in Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Dessie, Jimma and Sodo. 70% of the program’s participants are women while 10% are from vulnerable groups.

- Describes the CSPW program: What it is, its goal, the main targets of the program and what it intends to achieve with regard to youth skill development and employment.

Expected Deliverables:
Video production:
- Total Duration: 5-10 min
- Interview with YNSD’s Executive Director (2 – 3 min) – Location: YNSD HQ, Addis Ababa.
- Animation (3 -7 min) featuring the overview of the CSPW program as stated above. The animation will contain infographics, pictures and a narration
- Selected contractor is expected to handle all pre-production, production and post-production activities.
- YNSD will provide (1) the script for the interview and narrations, (2) pictures taken from the CSPW program (3) Other data and information needed for the animated portion of the video
- Interview: Amharic and English (with Afaan Oromo, Afar, Amharic and English subtitles)
- Animation: Afaan Oromo, Afar, Amharic and English voice-overs
