Overview
Yazmi USA, LLC (Yazmi) is an international satellite company that provides a unique end-to-end learning infrastructure tailored to regions characterized by low broadband Internet penetration rates. This includes remote or hard-to-access areas where traditional connectivity is limited.
Yazmi is seeking a qualified Program Manager to support a 1-year education technology (EdTech) pilot program in Ethiopia. The pilot aims to leverage Yazmi’s satellite connectivity solution to deliver high-quality educational content to select secondary schools. The primary objective is to enhance learning outcomes for students.
Job Description
The Program Manager will play a key role in shaping the overall design of the pilot program and monitoring its performance on an ongoing basis. This includes coordinating activities and maintaining effective communication channels between various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of overall program activities
- Design and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program performance
- Planning resource and personnel allocation
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to synchronize efforts
- Overall program management to ensure appropriate implementation of technological interventions at selected schools

Job Type: Contract 12 months
- 3-4 years’ experience in program management or relevant program implementation and coordination experience
- BS/BA degree plus a graduate degree, or the equivalent work experience, in project management
- Demonstrated experience in project reporting and writing
- Background in technological interventions for education or Learning Management System software is a plus
- Experience in education sector programs or technological interventions in rural areas is a plus
