Job Overview
The project accountant is responsible accounting works including book keeping, financial management, arranging and facilitating authorized payments and controlling financial flowand settlement, developing financial progress and terminal reports.
Job duties and Responsibilities
- Recording of financial documents of the project
- Controlling and follow up of expenses as per their allocations in the approved project document and budget transfer notes
- Preparing check for authorized expenses
- Preparing cash registration book and sequential expense record
- Checking reasonable expense breakdowns before suspense is processed
- Checking the fulfillment of supporting documents before suspense settlements,
- Follow up of bank balance and statement
- Alerting the project signatories about the current balance at bank
- Preparing monthly staff salary payroll
- Arranging all reasonable and authorized payments (staff salary, taxes and pension, service charges, procurements and others)
- Setting properly/filing financial documents
- Preparing financial report and submitting to project coordinator
- Submitting project expense documents to head office finance department for transfer settlements,
- Carrying out other duties assigned by project coordinator and management

Education background and experience
- BA degree from recognized Colleges/universities in accounting with three year related work experiences or diploma with six-year experience
- Experience in financial management
- Fluent communication in multiple local languages and understanding English
- Faithful and loyal to organizational regulations
- Skills in teamwork and patient
- Bank reconciliation skills
- Setting legal payments with legal deductions
- Setting financial statements
- Suspense settlements
