Job Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for managing the Performance Management process by ensuring the formulation of policies and guidelines to enable the department to successfully achieve its mandate in relation to Performance Management activities and creation of a high-performance organization. He/she monitors and controls the development of performance plans and key performance indicators per the strategic vision, scope, priorities, processes, systems and tools of the Bank.

Competencies required:

  • Working knowledge of Performance Management Systems, practices, processes and technology
  • Working knowledge of Balanced score card system
  • Technical knowledge in human resources and/or business administration.
  • Understanding of best and most recent HR practices and techniques.
  • The ability to transform broad/general performance objectives into particular, quantitative metrics.
  • The ability to create critical performance management tools and instruments.
  • The ability to coach others on the performance management cycle and procedure.
  • Project management abilities.
  •  The ability to lead, influence, and drive change efforts in support of department/unit business strategy.

Required Qualification and Experience:

MBA/MA Degree in HRM or other relevant field of studies with 6 years relevant experience of which 2 years in Managerial or equivalent capacity.

OR

BA Degree in Management/HRM/Business Administration/Public Administration/Law or other related fields with 8 years relevant experience of which 2 years in Managerial or equivalent capacity.
