Kerchanshe specializes in coffees sourced from Yirgacheffe, Nekemte, Gimbi, Djimma, and Sidamo, names that epitomise fine Arabica coffee. Since its inception 15 years ago, Kerchanshe has established a track record of fair trading and excellent customer service, and now employs over 1,350 permanent staff and more than 20,000 seasonal staff. Directly and indirectly, it impacts the livelihoods of over 1 million coffee growers throughout the southern and south-western coffee-cultivating regions of Ethiopia.

The passion for fine coffee is coupled with consistent reinvestment not only in improved infrastructure, technology and processes, but Kerchanshe also invests 10% of its annual profits into social responsibility programs through Buna Qala NGO,  which is stablished and fully supported and monitored under Kerchanshe trading, the former  to build public schools, clinics, etc,  to provide clean water and other related cervices to the communities.

The diversified types of Arabica cultivation in the country and its highly suitable environment with high altitudes, good rainfall, and rich volcanic soils yields to the uniquely Ethiopian flavours and aromas that are present in its elegant range of gourmet, specialty and organic coffee. Job Description

  • Reconciles price invoices against final invoices, invoices against goods receiving notes and reports the difference to his/her immediate supervisor.
  • Settles utility bills and handles bank deposits or withdrawals .
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly reports on the status of the purchased items invoices.
  • Collect and check the invoices .
  • Transfer the approved invoices to the accounts for payment of suppliers.
  • Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
  • Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
  • Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
  • Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
  • Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
  • Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned to him/her by immediate supervisor.
Qualification
  • BA degree in business management, supply chain management, accounting or related fields.
  •   2years and above experience as purchase  preferably experience with a FMCG company.

  • Must be able to multi-task and is detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English, Amharic and Afan Oromo
  • Ability to read, interpret and summarize documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must be able to work proactively and anticipate future needs or obstacles before they arise.
  • Demonstrate initiative in the work environment.
  • Flexible and team player.
