Duties and Responsibilities
- Analysing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
- Information technology consultants advise on plan, design and install information technology systems for Maxbridge clients.
- Will work with educational and commercial clients who are seeking help and advice about business and IT problems.
- Designs, develops, and delivers training programs and workshops to educators and IT professionals working.
- Provides independent technical advice, consultation, and individualized assistance to educators and IT specialists providers within area of professional specialty.
- Designing, installing and trialling new systems and software, fixing any issues that arise and repairing computer problems and removing viruses suggesting appropriate hardware, software and systems
- Assesses local and state educational resources within area of professional expertise, and designs and develops special programs for resources development as appropriate.
- Develops, fosters, and collaborates with a network of internal and/or external subject matter experts in the design and development of training curricula, media, and materials.
- Develops or oversees the development of training curricula; formulates or reviews training outlines, and determines appropriate instructional methodologies and formats; evaluates and recommends incorporation of vendor programs, as appropriate to meet overall training goals and objectives.
- Develops and produces special educational literature and information packages for dissemination to educators.
- May supervise personnel, which may include recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualification
- At least MSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields and 7 years of experience as a consultancy and training expert
- Applicants who have leadership/managerial positions at consultancy firms are preferred

- Proven experience as IT Consultant
- Understanding and implementing a technological solution to meet client’s business needs.
- An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
- Analysing and determining security threats.
- Providing advice on technology best practices.
- Training clients/staff to use the new IT system.
- Monitoring the success of IT solutions.
- Producing detailed reports on the efficacy of the technology.
