Essential Function
- Initiates and coordinates institutional transformation and ensures the implementation of innovation and change programs;
- As per the direction set by the Chief Officer, leads the development and review of the Bank’s strategic plan;
- Advises the executive management on issues pertaining to business level strategy and efficiency improvement initiatives;
- Coordinates and reviews relevant researches to be done strategy and plan development purposes;
- Prepares and reviews annual plan/budget of the Bank in line with the strategic plan;
- Assesses the Bank’s market share and leads the periodic operational/ financial performance monitoring and evaluation;
- Leads the conduct of key strategic research that would bring in significant positive impact on the Bank’s performance;
- Leads the process of creating ideal future and consider the appropriate plans needed to achieve them and see the implementation through;
Place of Work: Addis Ababa (Head Office)
Qualifications:
- BA in Economics, Management and Business Administration or related field,
Experience:
- 5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry of which 2 years as Strategy Officer, experience in strategic planning, change management and is more preferable.
