Herenim Trading Plc is looking for a skilled Export Manager who will be responsible for managing a sales team, establishing sales territories, setting sales targets in association with senior managers of the organization, analyzing sales statistics, and helping to grow the business. The Export Manager is a key member of the organization and will be expected to be a great communicator together with the ability to establish and maintain relationships both internally and externally.

Job Summary:  

  • Prepare, implement and maintain export strategies, procedures and ensure adherence to legal, ethical and business policies and procedures;
  • Manage all export related operations including but not limited to planning, procurement, sales and marketing;
  • Develop and manage all communication and maintain professional and organizational relationship with suppliers, buyers, regulatory authorities and clients;
  • Prepare effective business plan with the required product mix and volume, use available resources to achieve planned business goal;
  • Devise and implement effective sourcing strategy for the export items;
  • Monitor existing and prospective markets, identify potential business opportunities and present the same for decision making;
  • Monitor sales transactions and review customer feedback for orders and follow-up payments, settlements and bank processes;
  • Coordinating efficient shipping schedules and identify appropriate shippers and follow shipment status;
  • Compile export documents including certificates required by regulatory authorities to expedite the export;
  • Coordinate staff at the department, coach the staff to enhance their capability and build a team geared for objective fulfilment;

Education:                          

  • Minimum of BA / BSc degree in International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or other related fields of studies

Work Experience:           

  • 10 years out of which 2 years in managerial position

Competence:                   

  • Excellent computer skills, good presentation and writing skills

Communication:              

  • Effective communicator and promotes team building
