Unilever is one of the leading suppliers of food, home and personal care products in Ethiopia. Unilever Manufacturing PLC was established in 2015 in Ethiopia and is already supporting a growing network of Ethiopian suppliers, distributors, and traders. The company continues to add capacity in local manufacturing in Ethiopia after on shoring Soaps, Detergent Powders and Bouillons.
The main roles of the security Intern would be :-
- Monitor the existing CCTV platform and align with the service provider for maintained
- Monitoring the weighbridge Functionality and assess the associated risk with it.
- Monitor the data capture solution program and escalate the issue to the vendor
- Tracking the company vehicle using GPS tracking system.
- Monitor the loading and unloading process for finished goods and raw material
- Be present and visible in the Help Desk and available to users requiring providing technical assistance.
- Learn fundamental operations of commonly used software, hardware, and other equipment.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Assures system stability and security.
- Analyze problems and implement solutions according to relevant procedures.
- Resolves and repairs problems within scope of authority.
- Installs and configures hardware like printer, scanner, UPS, Photocopy Machine, Modem, Network card, applications software etc.;
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
- Give remote support to users. (telephone, Skype for business or Team Viewer)
- Assist with on boarding of new users.
- Prioritizing and managing many IT support open cases at a time.
- CCTV Monitoring and interpreting the existing data.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
The candidate should be a graduate in the fields of
1.Computer engineering or Computer science
2.Software engineering
3.IT Or a social science background in management, administration or communications is acceptable.
Finally, be proficient in English language.
