Scope of Role

The sales analyst collects and analyzes external and internal data, both qualitative and quantitative, for sales & distribution reports and to provide requested information and insight regarding the market, channel, customers and consumers. This role is also responsible for the development of periodic sales analytics and reports on performance, execution and activations and the effective implementation and use of an automated sales system and a continuously monitor the performance, use and development of the system.  

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Sales reporting, analytics and forecasting: the sales data analyst is responsible for a periodic reporting of sales performance by route, territory and region, develop analytics on the performance of the sales regions, track and report on trade practices, consumption trends, performance and impact of activations, develop volume forecast and communicate on time. 
  • Data base management:  train the sales team on the sales tracking system, follow up on the implementation system, monitor the continuous use of the system and serve as the focal point for any system related issues, continuously test the system for improvement and work with the vender for changes.
  • Area demarcation / route optimization: the sales analyst is responsible for demarcating distribution territories and identifying potential optimizations, suggesting route alternatives and periodically reviewing the ideal locations for warehouses.
  • Research: plan and implement periodic and ad hoc research on competition, pricing, consumption trends, consumer behavior, market growth, POSM use efficiency.
  • Team works and participation: promote an open, honest and respectful communication culture with in the team. Participate in team development.

Qualification and Experience Required 

  • College degree ( IT related or Statistics graduates are highly encouraged), with a minimum of two-year experience in sales administration and analytics.
  • Good analytical skills, result oriented, quick learner,
  • Entrepreneurial team player excited to contribute to help build Komari
  • Strong interpersonal communication and basic report writing skill
  • Self-starter and result oriented
  • Proactive in decision makings
  • Basic Microsoft office and email skills.
