Huawei Technologies Ethiopia engaged in the entire network construction of Ethio-Telecom including. GSM, CDMA, Fixed Network, in order to provide better services to Ethiopia Telecom and contribute more to the success of GTP. Therefore we would like to invite qualified and competent applicant to work with us on the following positions:
- Responsible to Prepare preventive maintenance Plan of All network Objects RAN, and DC sites on annually, quarterly, monthly basis.
- Responsible to Ensure PM Visit are done according the plan, and the deviation max ±2 days.
- Responsible to Ensure all Passive elements of network (Access/DC) be maintained professionally according Huawei standard and be operation healthy.
- Responsible to follow and update Standard operation procedure for Planed activities tasks.
- Responsible to Prepare frequently training plan for FME to standardize Preventive maintenance Visit output with measure the competent and qualification of PM team
- Responsible to Monitoring, follow up, and manage the preventive maintenance output per each team,
- Responsible to ensure PM team are fully equipped and qualified.
- Responsible to review All WOs including Trouble tickets, and ensure its quality level meet Huawei standard.
- Responsible to manage and control Sites Snags list on weekly, biweekly and monthly basis including register and tracking till be solved through PM team or its owner.
- Handover with the ROT to receive the newly injected sites
Education and Major
- Electric and Power Engineering Bachelor Degree.
- Major in Electric science, electronic, communication or relative areas.
Professional Knowledge
- Responsible to ensure batteries test are done professional for RAN and DC sites,
- Responsible to work with Electromechanical Manager to ensure Electrical elements such as Battery, solar Cell (PV), and Distribution panel are maintained efficiency.
- Responsible to ensure all external alarms are connected and working professionally and are tested during PM visit.
- Responsible to prepare Passive spare part and consumables dimension and ensure its availability.
- Follow and report low efficient FME, and how can be utilize to enhance his efficiency.
- Responsible to ensure All subcontractor’s team members following Access process of customer sites.
Business Skills
- Contact customer on daily basis with professional way to handle Passive part of network and finalize the Passive part monthly acceptance.
- Monthly Evaluate Preventive Maintenance Teams per subcontractor, and its Team members.
- Prepare Dashboard report on Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly basis to be reported internally and externally to customer showing Planning activities KPIs, improvement plan, and challenges and how overcome it.
Project Experience
- More than 5 years of working experience at telecom networking, with experience in handling Passive and Infrastructure elements of telecom network , with strong leader and Managerial capability.
- Prefer to be Familiar with Huawei Managing service Process

- Microsoft Tool (Excel/Word/Power Point, PDF).
