We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for NPM Project Leader within the Project Management Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
Reporting to Manager Project Support Office, the role holder will be responsible for timely completion of milestones under his/her scope
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate project planning of major projects
- Record projects in project management system and track deliverables
- Provide support to project management teams
- Facilitate the development of a project management information system
- Provide support on project management information system
- Negotiate contract and supplier pricing
- Record discounts and savings negotiated
- Identify and manage project risks
- Report on project progress to stakeholders
- Provide status and budget reports on key projects
- Manage special projects
- To liaise and provide support to different role players to ensure projects are completed according to company requirements, standards, and specifications.
- Maintain project quality standards through adherence to project governance processes
- To manage budgets to meet project objectives.
- To conduct meetings and workshops with external consulting teams and contractors.
- Supply Capex cash flow projections by deriving and supplying project acceptance dates
- Review performance of consultants/contractors against contracts
Qualifications
- Diploma / certificate in Project Management (Desirable)
- 3 year Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (Light Current), Computer Science / Information Technology (Essential)
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years Project Management experience (Essential)
- 3 years of relevant Experience (Essential)
