FARM Africa, founded in 1985, is a specialist international non-governmental organization working in remote and resource-poor rural areas in Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Southern Sudan, and Uganda. Farm Africa believes in a prosperous rural Africa and it aims to reduce poverty by helping poor farmers and herders grow more food, keep their livestock healthy, make a basic living and manage their natural resources in a sustainable way. Invitation to Bid for Salary Survey Consultancy Services

 Farm Africa is an international NGO founded in 1985, with a vision to ensure a prosperous rural Africa. It is a specialist development NGO working with smallholder farmers and forest communities, local governments and the private sector in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The organization is an expert in the fields of agronomy, livestock, natural resources management and market engagement. With community engagement underpinning our approach, we design and implement sustainable solutions to rural poverty based on evidence and best practices.

Farm Africa currently wants to invite eligible bidders to conduct Staff Salary Benchmarking Survey. The objective of this assignment is to provide information and guidance that senior management can use to have a transparent, easy-to-understand, and justifiable compensation scheme based on relatively current market data, in which Farm Africa Ethiopia ensures staff pay and benefits scheme aligns with overall organizational strategy, goals, and philosophy. This call is intended to undertake an assessment to ensure internal equity of the staff pay and benefits scheme to guarantee staff engagement and improved performance in their respective sphere of influence; and external competitiveness of the staff pay and benefits scheme.

Qualifications of the Consultants 

1.     Bidders shall submit all the legal documents (renewed Trade License, Registration, TIN, VAT/TOT certificates)

2.     For the lead consultant, a minimum   Master’s Degree in the field related to Human Resources Management, Statistics, and related fields

3.     Proven experience in the field of human resource management.

4.     Proven track record in the area of compensation and benefits analysis, including for comparable international organizations.

5.     Experience in undertaking salary surveys for international organizations.

6.     Familiarity with Ethiopia’s labor market issues and Ethiopia’s economic context.

7.     Ability to render consulting services in the most professional, effective, and efficient manner.

8.     Excellent writing and presentation skills (all required reports shall be written in English).

9.     Bidders shall clearly state their unit price, number, and total price including VAT/ToT in ETB
