In Ethiopia, Finnish Refugee Council is registered and accorded legal personality with Registry Number 4184 on June 11, 2019 as a Foreign Organization in accordance with the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019. FRC has been operating in Ethiopia since 2020, and currently provides non-formal education to adult refugees and Ethiopian host communities residing near the refugee settlements in the Gambella region.
Scope of work
FRC would like to invite Eligible Certified Audit Firms registered under AABE and which meet the criteria indicated below, to take on the audit of its books of accounts for the year ended 31st December 2021. The Firm will audit the client’s financial statement of the fiscal year. There will be 13 (thirteen) box files. The Firm should conduct the audit in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and Agency for Civil Society Organizations requirements.
Deliverables
- Audit Report, and
- Management Letter.
Job Requirements
Interested audit firms should submit their technical and financial proposals including:
- Financial proposal
- Copy of renewed /recent professional and/or business license
- Copy of Certificate of compliance from the office of the Accounting and Auditing
- Board of Ethiopia (ABBE)
- Copy of Tin and VAT certificate
- Copy of Tax clearance
- Staff composition and firm profile, including principal partner
- Previous audit experience with NGOS
- Estimated Time frame, final audit report submission date
- Other relevant information for the audit work
