CEFA (European Committee for Training and Agriculture) is a Non-Government Organisation whose headquarter is in Bologna, Italy. CEFA works in North/East Africa and Latin America with international donors, mainly in the following activities: 1) Rural economy with production, transformation and commercialization of agricultural products; 2) Crafting products; 3) Basic infrastructures to guarantee water access, requalification and environment protection of the territory and the use of renewable energies; 4) Technical and Management training.

CEFA is looking for a team of consultants/consultancy firm to produce a AWARENESS FLIPCHART on CHILD PROTECTION, for teachers, students, community members, caregivers. The flipchart should combine illustrations on the front sides and textual informations on the back sides, in order to facilitate the leading of group sessions.
The Flipchart should have the following characteristics:
- Maximum 30 pages
- Editing A4 size
- Stand-alone modules about key concepts: Child, Child Protection, Child abuse
- Stand-alone modules about key Child Protection documents: Convention on the Rights of the Child, African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
- Stand-alone modules about key Child Protection areas: protection risks and protective factors; child development; child nutrition, elements of hygiene.
The team/firm should ensure the followings:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
- B.A./M.A. degree in Creative Arts, Graphic Design, Social Science, Psychology.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 3 years of experience in designing, planning, and implementing SBCC materials.
- Ability to use and familiarity with various drawing tools and digital illustration software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other)
- Excellent sketching skills to quickly communicate ideas.
- Ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from diverse project partners and iterate on illustrated designs.
- Ability to navigate and creatively engage with diverse artistic traditions in Ethiopia.
- A compelling portfolio that showcases aesthetic awareness, high caliber drawing skills, and command of multiple illustration styles.
- Excellent English and Oromiffa languages skills required, both written and oral.
- Previous experience on similar assignments with INGOs is a plus.
