CHADET is Charity that provides services for vulnerable children and currently operating in Addis Ababa City Administration, Oromia and Amhara National Regional States. CHADET would like to hire competent person who would be managing multiple projects implemented in different parts of the country. Organization for Child Development and Transformation (CHADET) is a non-profit national development organization registered in Ethiopia that works for the protection and welfare of children found under difficult circumstances. CHADET would like to hire competent staffs for coordinating and executing a project that is being designed to support children, women and other members of the community in selected Kebeles of Wanchi Woreda, South West Shoa Zone in Oromiya National Regional State. The positions and key tasks expected of the candidate are outlined as follows:
Key responsibilities:
Subject to the general guidelines of the organization and directives from the Project Coordinator, the field officer shall be responsible for coordinating the activities of the project at the field level and has the following duties and responsibilities:
- Establishing child data and timely verification of the data,
- Follow up reflect circles formation and strengthening for already established groups
- Strengthening school activities in order to achieve quality education
- Working hardly on community led development with special emphasis on IGA
- Devise ways of strengthening the participation of the target beneficiaries especially that of children and women
- prepare a quarterly, monthly and weekly work plans and reports on the level accomplishments to the project coordination office,
- Carry out other similar activities as assigned by the project coordinator.

Qualifications and experience:
- BSC in Social work, Sociology, development studies, or relevant fields with a minimum of four years of experience or MSC in mentioned or relevant fields with a minimum of two years of experience in coordinating/leading projects.
Competencies:
- Strong technical skills in gender equality, Education and women development activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead but understands and believes in community-led development.
- Strong ability to communicate in written and spoken English and Afan Oromo,
- Ability and willingness to respect CHADET’s values and safeguarding policy in every aspect of work
