VisionFund Micro Finance Institution (S.C) previously known as Wisdom Microfinance is an Institution established to provide financial services to the productive poor in the rural and urban areas of Ethiopia. - Major Responsibilities
Safety
- To safely drive vehicles to transport personnel and good;
- Conducts vehicle security checks such as brakes, tires, lights, horn and other necessary accessories before driving vehicle;
- Places protection padding around goods and materials to prevent damage during transit.
Operation
- Drives vehicle to transport personnel and goods to destination;
- Takes all preventive measures to ensure that passengers and property are not exposed to accident;
- Submits daily report on mileages covered, fuel consumption and other necessary details;
- Ensures the safety of accessories and tools;
- Reports road accidents to supervisor in timely bases / within 24 hours;
Maintenance
- Performs minor repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, spark plugs and fan belts.
- Washes, cleans and greases assigned vehicle;
- Follows up and arranges the service and maintenance of assigned vehicle;
- Qualification and Technical Skill Required
- Grade 10 Complete + 3rd Grade driving License & 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic rules.
- Basic knowledge of auto mechanic.
- Ability to conduct security checks and inspection on vehicles.
- Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs.
- Interpersonal skill.
