Huawei Technologies Ethiopia engaged in the entire network construction of Ethio-Telecom including. GSM, CDMA, Fixed Network, in order to provide better services to Ethiopia Telecom and contribute more to the success of GTP. Therefore we would like to invite qualified and competent applicant to work with us on the following positions:
- Responsible to handle daily operation tasks with customer by professional way, to handle active elements of network and finalize the monthly service acceptance.
- Responsible to handle and follow Field maintenance team and ensure they are fully equipped to handle any active trouble ticket to achieve SLA, MTTR, and KPIs.
- Responsible to work with BO, FO, Field maintenance Team to arrange the planned WO.
- Responsible to prepare Spare part dimension, and work with CS team to ensure its regional availability to able to handle all active WOs.
- Responsible to work with TX team to handle DCN, alignment, packet loss, BER, Quality issues Precautionary before outage.
- Responsible to work with NPM team to handle Quality WOs such as Hardware, VSWR, tilt, and VSWR.
- Responsible to Ensure all Active elements of network (BTS/BSC/Node B/RNC/MW/IP/Router/DWDM) be maintained professionally according Huawei standard and be operation healthy.
- Responsible to Review on monthly basis the PM activities of BSC/RNC/HUB sites to ensure there no any pending passive reserves.
- Handover with the ROT to receive the newly injected sites
Professional Knowledge
- Prepare frequently training plan for FME to standardize Preventive and corrective maintenance Visit output for active part with measure and rate the qualification of field team.
- Prepare Dashboard report on Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly basis to be reported internally and externally to customer showing active element TT, availability, KPIs, improvement plan, and challenges and how overcome it.
- Prepare incident and technical report with BO before sending it to customer
- Monthly Evaluate field Maintenance Teams per subcontractor, to ensure FME are qualified and capable to handle Active TT.
- Handle, manage and control subcontractor’s Field maintenance team.
Education and Major
- Communication Engineering Bachelor Degree.
- Major in electronic, communication science or relative areas
Business Skills

Project Experience
- More than 5 years of working experience at telecom networking, with experience in Huawei Active Elements BTS/BSC/Node B/RNC/MW/IP/Router/DWDM elements of telecom network with telecom network technical, and leader, and Managerial capability.
- Prefer to be Familiar with Huawei Managing service Process
Skills or Certificate
- Microsoft Tool (Excel/Word/Power Point, PDF).
Language Skill: Excellent in English
