Purpose of the Job:
- To support the cash management of the Shabelle Bank
Main Duties
- Sort cash notes in values and identify deteriorated notes
- Count and wrap cash notes in bundle
- Handle movement of cash between Customer Service Supervisor and Customer Service Officers.
General Responsibilities
- To adhere to confidentiality clause and uphold the Shabelle code of conduct.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected
- Assist in Preparation of weekly petty cash reports by reconciling receipts versus cash in hand.
- Balance the daily account at the end of each day
Qualifications and experience:
- Secondary school completion.
- With Two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Must be confident, self-starter, an independent thinker and have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented
- Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting
Competences:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
